Small-scale spiritual renewal leads to broad-scalecommunity enrichment. This system of education seeks to counter spiritual depravity, internalizing Islamic moral values, toward achieving mental clarity. Thus, the goal is to arrive at a clear understanding of our role as Muslims living in the modern world.

Criterion Concept Mission
To develop mental models which help Muslims to understand the essences of Islamic teachings, our mission is to provide learning resources that envision an elevated role for religion in our lives, beyond its relegation to private acts of ritual worship. Such an approach will challenge the misconception that a comprehensive Islamic way of life is meant only for the pre-modern era.
Philosophy Of Education
Mentals Models
Educational curricula must consider Mental models, as they inform how we act, what we see, and how we interpret events.
Self Limiting or
Sustaning Growth
Educational curricula often focus on symptoms rather than illnesses. Our focus in the short term to treat symptoms while in the long term to address and prevent illnesses. Loss of spirituality seems to be the result of bad influences, but the bad influences are often symptoms of generational decay.
The goal is, through skills of reflection and skills of inquiry, to provide tools toward personal mastery. This process includes reclaiming history in a way that is relevant and useful for contemporary life.
Our Curriculum is Designed For
We have extensive experience in both pedagogy and andragogy (adult learning) and have built the curriculum with consideration for learner variability. For schools and youth groups, we have focus on pedagogy and dependent learning. For adult learning groups and seekers of knowledge, we have considered the experience of the learner, problem-centered approach and internal incentives to drive the learning experience.

Founders Message
I have had the privilege of involvement in community activism, organizational development, and curriculum development in corporate and academic settings in domestic and international markets for decades. One of my observations was fractionalization of knowledge vs holistic knowledge in multiple settings and environments. Keeping the importance of learner variability in mind, our intention was to create an engaging curriculum based on holistic organic knowledge. This would be something that went beyond anecdotal “stories” and would teach skills of inquiry and skills of reflection. Rather than using an “events based” approach, we used a “thematic analysis” approach that would help engrain the lessons in the mind/personality of the learner. The objective is to increase self awareness, self reflection, and develop skills of inquiry. Another objective is to teach balancing inquiry and advocacy in multicultural environments across the modern world. We have endeavored to take historical lessons from early Muslim history and contextualize — as well as holistically convey — using thematic analysis. Our hope is this will deepen an overall, historical and contextualized understanding of Islam and early Muslim history. This curriculum creates a paradigm shift where our legacy is not a collection of stories that momentarily captivates our attention but a practical guide to overcoming challenges posed by the modern world. Our last objective is for the leaner to develop a greater appreciation and deep love for early Muslim figures and personalities.
May Allah accept our efforts.
